Nice dress, shipping was okay

I bought one of their Embroidered Jackets during a seasonal sale. The jacket is really unique and well-made, I get compliments on it. Sizing was true to the chart provided, which was helpful. Shipping took about 10 days to reach California, which was acceptable but not super fast. I wish they offered more detailed tracking updates after it left Vietnam. Overall, a good value for a handcrafted item, especially with the discount I got.

How do Chula's silk garments compare to Metiseko? I've bought from Metiseko before and loved their quality.

Metiseko is great, but Chula has a really distinct, more artistic vibe with their patterns and appliques. Quality-wise, the silk from Chula is fantastic, very soft and drapes beautifully. I'd say it holds up just as well.

Is it okay to put their cotton dresses in a washing machine, or do they need special care like the silk stuff?

For cotton, I usually just do a cold, delicate wash and hang dry. Haven't had any issues. Definitely wouldn't risk the dryer though, just to be safe.

I machine wash my cotton pieces on cold, inside out, and air dry them. They hold up fine. The silk stuff is a whole other ball game though, hand wash only for that!

Yeah returns are possible, I had to return a dress once. Just check their policy page, there's usually a timeframe and you're responsible for return shipping, which can be a bit much back to Vietnam.
